Last night, we spontaneously drove to the world's biggest book sale: Big Bad Wolf! It was, of course, my idea because I love books and I am in the process of constructing my future library, only it is still ongoing in my mind for 15 years now hahaha. Yes, 15 years, because I've always dreamt of having my own library in my own house. Maybe someday it will come true so for now, let me first collect as many books as I can to fill my library. Right? Right!

The Big Bad Wolf is the world's biggest and most affordable book sale. It originated in Malaysia with the main purpose of encouraging people to read books again. This year, this book fair will be stopping in Manila for 10 days only (February 16-25). But no worries because the book fair will be open 24 hours. That's right, the whole day, all 24 hours of it.

I was able to score some books at the fair but I was not able to find all the books on my list. I've got 15 books listed but since this is my first time in a book fair this big, I was not able to make the most of what it offers. I think as should have researched more, but as I've mentioned, our trip to the Big Bad Wolf Book sale was unplanned so all in all, I think it was worth the trip.

I do have some reminders though for those who want to visit the event. Based on my experience at the book fair, I hope you these can help you when you get to the place.

1. Please eat before entering the event place. The event place is the whole area of World Trade Center and its gonna tire you just by walking around every table. There's a cafe before you can enter the halls of the WTC where you can eat, maybe some pastries or sandwiches, just enough to fuel your energy for book hauling.

2. Don't forget to go to the loo before entering the WTC halls. Why, because if you feel like peeing and you can't control it anymore, you need to exit the whole place and go through the entrance again. Yes, they won't allow you to go back to the entrance, hence, you need to go to the  exit, leave all the books you collected (in case you're not yet ready to pay) and go back to the entrance to the hall so you can use the restroom.

3. If you are bringing kid/s, please always hold them. We went to the event at night time around 11 PM and there are still lots of people, most of them with children too, and if you are not careful with your child, he can easily get lost in the crowd.



4. Have a list of books you want to buy. The big place and the number of books inside WTC is so overwhelming. If you have no particular book in mind to buy, it may be difficult to choose which one you really want to purchase.

5. ENJOY! The books are discounted at least 50% and most if them are hardcover. All the more you want to bring home most of them!
